The Charter Area
The Ionian Sea offers great sailing sailing weather; sunny and
warm with predictable winds within a fascinating group of islands.
Navigation is generally by line of sight and a passage between
islands is generally only a few hours in duration The islands
are attractive and steeped in Greek mythology. The Ionian Sea is a
great place for people learning to sail or building experience
• Season •
The season runs from mid-April through to the end of October. The first three week of August can be considered peak season. There's a lot to be said for considering the "shoulder" season from mid-May to mid-June, and September through to mid-October. Why? It's very much cheaper. You will avoid the crush of high/peak season. The weather is still very pleasant and there is a better chance of wind and some great sailing

• Marine Wildlife •
Species that can be found in the Mediteranean Sea include; fin whales, sperm whales, grey sperm whales, pilot whales, Cuvier’s beaked whales, bottlenose dolphins, striped dolphins, common dolphins and loggerhead turtles

Gouvia Marina is
situated on Corfu, about 6 kilometres from the town of Corfu and 7
kilometres from the International Airport. It is a purpose
built marina in a natural harbour with fantastic facilities. From
the basics to the swimming pool, shops and a fantastic selection of
cafes, bars and restaurants. Enjoy a cold drink by the pool at the
Blue Bar or a Greek feast at the Argos Taverna overlooking the
waterfront. Gouvia is a brilliant place from which to start and
finish your yacht charter holiday.

literally embraced by the island’s capital town, bearing the same
name. Preveza Airport is just 20km away
