• Season •

The season runs from mid-April through to the end of October. The first three weeks of August can be considered peak season. There's a lot to be said for considering the "shoulder" season from mid-May to mid-June, and September through to mid-October. Why? It's very much cheaper. You will avoid the crush of high/peak season. The weather is still very pleasant and there is a better chance of wind and some great sailing

• Weather • Climate • Wind •

The Kornati Islands has hot, moderately dry summers and mild, wet winters, which can occasionally feel cold, because of the strong northern wind bura. It receives more than 2,600 sunshine hours annually. July is the hottest month, with an average high temperature around 29°C (84°F)

• Marine Wildlife •

You can expect to see dolphins. Whenever I sail in the Med I'm always bumping into them! Well not literally of course but the boat is often surrounded by a pod jumping alongside and diving under the bow

Other species that can be found in the Mediterranean Sea include; fin whales, sperm whales, grey sperm whales, pilot whales, Cuvier’s beaked whales, bottlenose dolphins, striped dolphins, common dolphins and loggerhead turtles
