Climate
The best time to visit Tahiti is between April/May and
September/October.
Tahiti has two seasons, with the wet and
warm season coming between November and April and the dry, cool
season between May and September (averaging 24°C/75°F) with the driest
months in June and August.

Getting There
Most flights to French Polynesia arrive at Faa'a International
Airport (PPT), also known as the Tahiti International Airport. It's
located on the island of Tahiti, a few miles outside the capital of
Papeete.
Raiatea can be reached from Papeete via a flight or
ferry

Sailing Qualifications
No formal qualifications/certifications are required but both
the charter company and I will wish to see the skipper's sailing
resume just to check they have the necessary experience to ensure
everybody will be safe and enjoy the charter
